About the Artist

Tanielle picture

Tanielle Childers, a native of Colorado, grew up inspired by the magic and beauty discovered on many camping trips with her family and friends in the Rocky Mountains. The peace and quiet that surrounded her on those occasions gave way to an open mind and ever-growing imagination. Daydreaming and drawing became a constant childhood pastime which has blossomed into a lifelong dream of becoming a respected artist.

In 1997, Tanielle moved to Great Bend, Kansas. This time became the perfect opportunity for her to focus all of her energy on completing a portfolio. Tanielle's work seemed to explode across the canvas and her whimsical, unforgettable style began to take form.

In 1998 upon returning to Loveland, Tanielle joined the Thompson Valley Art League/Lincoln Gallery where she served as a board member for four years. During this time, her career as an award-winning artist took flight. In 1999 Tanielle designed the logo for the local Corn Roast Festival, which was used for marketing and promotion such as newspaper publications, posters, t-shirts and a local billboard.

In 2000, she was one of two artists whose design was chosen for the world famous Loveland Valentine. And, in 2006 Tanielle was honored again when her design and verse were selected for the 2007 Loveland Valentine.

Tanielle enjoys life in Loveland with her husband Toby and their daughter Kaia. She continues to find inspiration to paint through her dreams, emotions and raw imagination. Vibrant colors and unique, whimsical style make Tanielle's work exciting, refreshing and one of a kind.
